No, they do exist. A good friend of mine suffered from it. Ended up selling everything of value he owned to fund it, even lost his job over it. This was not on the internet (he did not own a computer), this was "hard copy" porn (Mags, videos, etc).

I probably should have said that the emphasis on the idea of addiction, and the scaremongering that goes on is the bogey. ie. the suggestion that all porn is addictive and that anyone who looks at porn is in extreme danger of addiction.
These people are essentially saying that porn is equivalent to nicotine.
