htaccess and blocking
My WP have been undergoing a lot of brute-force attacks lately (Guess you all struggle with this shit)
I was told this as a solution Also, regarding the wp-login.php attacking, here's a solution: <Files wp-login.php> order deny, allow Deny from all ErrorDocument 403 "Denied" </Files> Put that in .htaccess, under the "Deny from all", add "Allow from <IP>" where <IP> is your IP address. The problem is, I can't get a static IP, the whole system here is dynamic. So the question is, how do I put an IP range in there? I have got the IP range my provider gives out to their customers I won't write the range here, but for example sakes, let's say it is 256.14.X.X to 256.24.X.X Thanks in advanca |
