Good morning all.
 I bought Links SQL yesterday so I'll be in script hell for the next week or so figuring out how I'll be setting it up to replace Links Organizer which is what my LL uses now. Seems like it will do everything and more then what I need but it also seems that I will be spending lots of money on plugins for it in order to get it to work just the way I want. I've already had to buy an import plugin to get my old database into to it and this morning I installed a free plugin that prevents duplicates from being submitted. First today I have a client to go see. I keep on telling them to find someone else but they are like a rash that just wont go away. |

 *yawn*..way too much exercise for moi..i was up at 2am which equates to 5am EST... and just now my goodhead kicked in.. hmmm could it be the 3 cups of coffee i had already??? off to the 1.99 ham steak breakfast at the Gold coast then over to the Palms to see how my little round-the-world gambling pool did and if i made any money this week!! |rasta| |

Hey everyone...
Well, i had a rough night: My buddy's tooth fell out of his mouth (poor fucker) took him to emerg, went back to watch a movie while he was there (don't worry, he said I could) saw, the Italian Job (for the 10 millionth time), then picked him up brought him back to his place, watched another flick (Malibu's most wanted) while he writhed in pain, then I couldn't fall asleep so I watched Foolproof...he passes out left him a note, fucked off for home, and came straight here... This is so fucked up.
I need 75 feet of wood fence replaced from where the tree and hurricane took out my old fence. Seems simple enough but when calling around I'm being told that the city I'm in is 6 to 8 weeks behind on permits so I'm looking at a few months before they can even start. Then this morning I get a call from one of the fence companies telling me to call their friend who has a cousin in the permits department who can get the permit much sooner. So I call and I'm put through to the friend of the friend who has numbers for me to call and each place I have to tell them who refereed me to them and on and on. Marty who says that his first cousin will be calling me later today can take care of my fencing needs right away. So I'm waiting for a phone call. This reminds of trying to buy drugs or something. Fuck all I want is some fence replaced that was damaged in the storm. |

Cleo: you basically are buying a drug of sorts down there right now, its called labor
I have heard horror stories about people getting ripped off down there during these hurricanes. I just hope some of the people jacking up their prices after the storms get busted. I will be here all day as well I am still down in Detroit for the rest of the week living the big city life It's nice to be able to just got to a store a few minutes away instead of driving an hour! |

Jim - damn Im up at 4:30 every morning - its an old habit I cant seem to shake - even in Vegas after the late nights, I was still down having breakfast at 6:30 - of course some of those times it wasnt after any sleep  |

Marty just called me and said that he has to make some phone calls, I'm guessing more relatives. lol
He will be coming tomorrow to give me a price and when it can be done. I know this is about a $1,500 job normally so it better still be around that price. If it was such heavy hard work to do this I would just go to Home Depot and buy 13 sections of fence and do it myself in the evening when the inspectors aren't around. The worst that would happen is I would have to pay double for the permit if I got caught but at least the fence would be up. Tivo people tomorrow and new roof the day after that. Tivo was suppose to be done on Saturday but for some odd reason the installer didn't want to do it in the middle of a hurricane. |

I have one of those isolated soar throat areas that hasn't deciced if it wants to fully infect me yet. |pissed|
Went to CVS (drugstore and genral shit) late last night and realized it's getting close to Halloween. Hate when they move shit around. I wondered in general why anyone would buy your basic cold medicine in the brand name instead of store name. Anywhoo- I don't have a soar throat as much as a soar part of my throat. I'm officially kinda sorta sick. Feel quite lazy today. Ugly, dark, humid, kinda sorta sick... Feels like a Hollywood video sorta day- but I'm too lazy to do that to. |
