Strange Member Request

I've been away looking after my mom and setting up some UK-oriented sites, but G&J is always the place I come for advice, even though I have limited time to chat anymore.

One of my members emailed me last night with a pretty strange request. He'd like a custom video and/or pictures of a featured model. That's not the strange part. He ALSO wants items of her used under-garments: panties, basque, socks, etc.

Thing is . . . if it wasn't for the quoted price, I wouldn't even consider wasting my time. But it's a large sum and he's offering 50% before the shoot and 50% on completion; trusting me, afterwards, to send the goods.

I can manage the video and pics . . . here's the question:

Is it legal to send used underwear in the post? I don't think it is, is it? I read somewhere that a couple served prison time for sending dirty lingerie through the post. I'd rather not sour the deal, but no price is worth breaking the law.

Any ideas?

That is not a strange request at all. I know lots of woman that sell their so called used panties and stuff.

I have no idea what the legal aspects of this are. lol.

I must be pretty naive. I never imaged people would pay for used lingerie. It doesn't make sense - anyone could have worn it. Hell, if the model wont do it, I'll be wearing them! LOL

I hope someone can help out on the legal side. The member is in my country, UK, and must have more money than sense.

This is my first post here, I usually just lurk.

Sending unwashed clothes with human fluid on it through the mail is considered illegal. Because the human fluid is considered hazardous material due to any unknown disease that it may have.

A girl did get arrested for selling stained items through the mail just over a year ago. She was a college student & a disgruntled customer sent something to her marked 'child porn' to draw the suspicion of the feds. And when they investigated her for that they discovered the use clothing & she was arrested for transporting hazard materials through the mail.

Some friends of mine sell the panties like there was no tomorrow. What they do is spray the panty with an artificial smell, very similar to the real thing, close enough for porn surfers because they keep ordering more.

Hi Kristian - while I cannot give you a concrete yes or no on this question, a good place to start would be www.royalmail.co.uk - they have a list of restricted items page on there somewhere mate. There may be no direct info on posting soiled panties to UK postal addresses - but I would have a peruse of the section related to obscene publications - which will be on there for sure.

I think this is a bit a of a gray area really - but what I can say is this - the market for this kind of stuff is pretty big - and I'm sure there are tons of soiled panties working there way up and down the UK in mail trains as I type this ;-)

The last I heard is, it is illegal here in the states to send it via the US post. Some use FedEx or something.

Your best bet is to follow the link doublep left, since you and the member are both in the UK. If there is no info there, you could try to find a Brit webmaster or amateur board if there are any, and asking there. You would probably have better luck with people that run amateur type sites, because if they haven't sold them, they've at least been asked, most likely.

I had a friend who used to sell her panties through a panty website and they would give her a special bag that sealed up tight to trasport them in. I always assumed it was to maintain the... ummm... "freshness" :) Now that I think about it though, maybe it was to legalize the mailing of them.
