Good Morning Jim and Happy Friday to everyone
Still playing a little catch up from the enforced downtime during/after the storm here. Hoping Emily (Cat 4 now) goes somewhere else (like dies in the Gulf). Late on getting the newsletter out, should have been out yesterday but things kinda got in the way. So that makes today newsletter day, and that'll make Saturday my Friday, so Sunday will be... ahh, the hell with it...Happy Friday! Simon

Vickie is doing much better guys. Her vision is at about 80%. Her ribs and collar bone still hurt like hell but she has good pain killers. A friend of hers who has crones offered her morphine patches. She said no, thankfully. But, she does have vicodin. And, she is finally sleeping without nightmares...funny what vallium will do

Hello Everyone Wood money, hmm...isn't that what this board is all about? Went to bed at like 1:30, have been up since 5 because the little guy woke me up. When he says its breakfast time, its breakfast time - no arguements. Have a good weekend, hopefully we'll see you all when  broadcasts on Sat.

 Worshippers!I decided that I needed a widescreen HDTV down in the Pool House so I had to bribe The Bitch into letting me get a new TV - I ended up moving the 42 inch plasma to the Pool House & bought here a monster 55 inch rear projection HDTV yesterday (and sold the old TV from the Pool House to Yell for a couple bucks) All this so I can watch HD sports I've got a bit of running around to do & then meeting with the financial guy at 11 to talk about my retirement planning...I'm thinking 40 is a good age to retire  |

Morning .. we're having a cold snap today.. get out the blankets its only gonna hit 109. |cool| Got some "new" furniture on the way, a slamming new desk and 'watch tv chair' woot.. hub updates, new candid snaps from Chyna  and maybe some reworking of old free sites to give them fresh life. have a Good One.. |

New season of Battlestar Galactica starts tonight. Finally something on TV that I actually enjoy. It starting last year was the only reason that I got a TiVo and is about the only thing I use it for except PPV stuff. Still going through my LL. Good morning!! It's Friday, and I've got my coffee. . .I'm ready to kick off the weekend!!
I've got reservations to an awesome Thai resturaunt for tonight. . .so I'm looking forward to that. And also, I'm going to catch a midnight showing of the new Willy Wonka movie. I have a lurking suspicion though, that it won't be as good as the original one was. I guess I'll find out. I have an oh so exciting day at an amusement park ahead of me. It's funny - the place is a lot more fun without the kids, but the wife demands that we take them. Of well, can't win them all.

 Jim so glad to hear the good news about your wife thats great!! Cleo cracking up about putting the kids in the locker your so funny..... MindyBlingBucks I think Jonny Depp will make Willy Wonka a hoot! I can't stand the movie myself. But thats only because when my kids were little they loved it. Which means I had to watch it all day many days... But I'll catch it when it comes out on DVD just to see how it came out.GreenGuy retire at 40? Well good for you! I'd love for my husband to be able to retire. I have a feeling he'll have to work till hes 90!! We also got a HDTV a 54 inch for the living room. I'll tell ya football in HD rocks! You'll love it we sure do! Well I'm in a great mood today!! Have a nice weekend all! |

Morning all
DD coffee is on..YUM! Cleo, you are too funny!! We also have a 54 inch HDTV in the basement and just got optimum cable's version of tivo. Had a few problems in the begining but now it works primo!! Been recording like crazy all the shows I love but can't watch (like reruns of CSI and Battlestar Gallactica to see the ones I missed last season so I can be ready tonight) Honey watches NASCAR on it and, tho I am not much of a nascar fan, it looks great |
