How many free movies on a free site?

Just wondering how many clips per site is a good # to get listed at most LL?

You will be listed at most LL's, if you have movies over 10 sec lenght each and in total over 120 sec.

Do LL's care what compression / format they are? Do they prefer mpeg or is avi and wmv or even quicktime ok too?

Since for the moment the majority of my surfers don't have the ability to play avi, quick time, or real player I don't list those formats.

Free sites need 120 secs usually. So 8 15 second clips is good.

No different with pics. Free site must be 20 pics and a TGP gallery is usually 12-16 pics. So yes Link Lists require more movies than a TGP. But you get more ads too so that is good.

do you care about the filesize or quality of the samples? normally my samples are 20 sec 1,7mb big but if I would submit to LLs I'd reduce that size to 1-1.3mb

I don't care about the file size as long as it loads reasonably fast. I don't suppose dialup surfers are movie customers anyway.
