They took the risk and paid the price, maybe others should take this as a warning. |

Paul, as I mentioned elsewhere, it isn't about internet obscenity - it is about obscenity in general, and SELLING PHYSIVCAL PRODUCT AND SHIPPING OVER STATE LINES.

![]() Very sad that all this money and time is spent catching adults catering to other adult's fetishes. ![]() Here in Fort Lauderdale they celebrated the closing of the last strip club a few months ago and now the city has found itself broke with not enough taxes coming in so they want to rase our property taxes even more to pay for the cities deficit. This coming at a time when many home owners are being forced to move because they can no longer afford their property taxes which have almost doubled in the last few years. ![]() It is really sad seeing all these empty buildings that once had thriving adult businesses in them. |

Cleo, it is VERY sad. Few people understand the implications of shutting down thriving businesses where money changes hands on a daily basis. I am sure that at many clubs, there are 30 - 50 girls a day working, all going home with at least $200... That money comes back into the economy and supports other businesses, and taxes are paid.
Economics... it works if you let it! :-) Alex |

So very true Alex!!!
I'm sure many of those girls live nearby and buy milk, bread or whatever from the local stores. And those buildings pay taxes. The club owners pay taxes and so on. People get so uptight about these things. If it is well run and private, then why get rid of it? ![]() |
