Happy Veterans Day
Good Morning
Well, today is going to be a lot like yesterday. My Children and GrandChildren are here until Monday morning so I am stuck being the guy that does the running around. Everyone is probably going to be sleeping for another 1/2 hour so I have about that much time.  I try not to do anything on Veterans Day each year anyway. I just think the doing nothing will be a lot more running this year. |

Good morning
Happy Remembrance Day. Up here we take a minute of silence at 11am to acknowledge the sacrifices made to keep us safe and prosperous. It's too bad that this annual reminder of the horrors of war does not inspire the powers that be to find other methods of resolving conflict. Lest we forget..... Does anyone know why the centre of the poppy is now black instead of green? |

Happy Veterans Day Saturday Everyone
 Not much on the agenda for today - might climb on the roof & fuck with this HD Satellite that Ramster brought me (as long as it stops raining) I do have to clean up the Pool House as we had another "flood" down there - the shit thing about putting plumbing into an existing structure that does not have a basement is that, unless you want to bust up 30 feet of concrete, you have to pump the waste liquid up & over, which means a lot of pumps & moving parts & lines & tubes....one busted on Wednesday night  Not nearly as bad as some of the other floods, but some got on the carpet & it stinks now |fart| I lost track of how many times we've had water down there, but it has to be i the double digits by now   Hockey & maybe poker tonight  |

 Thanks to the Veteran's Day! Found out last night that some friends from Chicago are here so after my bout at the store today, rug dawg and I will play tour guide. Of course they are thinking of moving here since there is an even larger than before Jamaican community living here. |rasta| sorry to hear about Jack Palance and Gerald Levert dying. try to have a peaceful and $$ filled Saturday. |

Morning all
Not a clue what I'm doing today. Tried to get a tattoo yesterday but the tattoo artist is booked until Monday afternoon so I'm seeing her then. Ripped open a little bit of an incision under my earlobe changing tops yesterday. Put some crazy glue on it and all is fine now but it is a bit surreal gluing body parts back on. Went out for a little while last night to the woman's bar up the street from me. Nice seeing some old faces but for the most part it was rather boring. I may just end up spending the day relaxing in my neighbor's pool today. |

spent the day yesterday working on a ton of code. yes, code has weight. Have a few things to do today followed by a few more things.
Cleo, I would think you would be happy seeing old faces with your recently rejuvinated face. And superglue does work wonders -- it has saved me a few trips to the doctor.

Little four-by-six index cards everywhere today as I figure out what will go where and what will do what on a new project. Other than that, I'm trying not to look outside at the beautiful 82 degree day out there or I'll wind up out of here again like I was earlier. Another vote for superglue here, used on myself and on others. Good thing to have in even the smallest first-aid kit. A good weekend to all, and a 'thank you' to all veterans.
