Wednesday The 18th (aka FILL IN THE BLANK)

Morning!

OK, let me walk you thru my very eventful 3 hour day...so far!

Woke up at 8 & our bedroom was FREEZING! Turns out we forgot to reset the furnace after the power went out yesterday. The thermostat read 52°F

This part is long, but you'll giggle at the end...

I was also tasked with getting 2 people concert tix during the presale for 2 events. My friend asked me to get her seats at a Toby Keith concert there's here in July. Those went on sale at 10. My niece asked me to get 4 tix for a Nicki Minaj show outside Pittsburgh. Those were supposed to go on sale to the fanclub at 10, then Citibank card members at Noon. She begged me to double check at 10 & sure enough, it let me start to pick my seats. I go to the map, click 4 seats, continue, fill out the captcha, continue...THOSE SEATS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN. This happened at least FIVE times

I finally got to the payment page & was completely expecting to be declined, since I'm not a fanclub member. But it let me buy them! So I was happy & my niece was ecstatic! So I go to the Toby Keith page, buy my friend her 4 seats (thankfully she just wanted cheap lawn seats) and then I check my mail for confirmations & whatnot & I look at the Nicki Minaj receipt...I got hit with a $20 cross sale membership to her fan club!!!!

So that explains why I was able to get them before noon

Somewhere in there, I updated. Now I have to go pick my almost-step-son-in-law up from work, then back to the grind

No furnaces, no tickets, no fan clubs, and temps in the eighties later today.

Doing my usual morning work and then grocery shopping before going on the Wednesday night paddle.

Thankfully it is much cooler today with temps in the low 70's which is just the way I like it

Of course I will be inside all day work of some sort throughout the day.

I did finish watching the Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt which was quirky and kinda funny

Now to find something new or probably watch some movies that are building up in the queue.

Nothing unusual going on here but I did get a chuckle this morning reading Facebook but then felt sorry for friends and family in Nova Scotia who got hit with ANOTHER snow storm, this time 30-40 cms (12-18 inches) depending where you live. That reminds me I should call my parents lol.

Think I just committed a major crime. Lent a neighbour some money, then remembered he was currently hiding from the police. Aiding and abetting a fugitive escape justice is probably a serious offence!

(My defence: "Sorry officer, I had forgotten you lot were after him, I thought he just wanted the money to buy drugs.")
