Woke up yesterday feeling like complete dog shit, so I just plopped myself on the couch & took meds. I feel a little better today, so here I am working.

The Bitch went with my step-daughter to get a biopsy done on her kidneys. Finger's crossed!

Some of you will get this joke: The Bitch called me when they got to the hospital, which is not one we'd heard of before. She said "I think we've been here before for something..." I interrupted her & said: "You're asking the wrong person."

Cleo - I read about the MRSA crap in Monday's thread. I assume you called & told the owner to drain & burn that hot tub?

Good Morning & Happy Birthday Mickey

Worked on the house yesterday and hurt my back. Still hurting this morning and while getting dress my neck went out. So I'm a mess today.

Got an error message on my car yesterday. Looks like abs is out so have an appt for the dealer tomorrow. Few other things need to be taken care of so I figure this will be a $3000 fixing when all is said and done. Also need new tires but that will be put off a bit longer or when the rains come.

Working on biz stuff all day thou later today it will be with catching up on dvr stuff.

Greenie, hope everything goes well with your step-daughter.

Told them, but they took it as I was blaming them for giving me something that they had and since they were sure that they didn't have anything it couldn't possibly be from them. Tried to explain to them that it was the tub, not something caught from anyone in the tub but they jut didn't get it. All this despite them telling me that they too have not been feeling right down there. Fucking idiot!

As far as I go the burning has gone away and I'm not peeing blood anymore, but fuck my urethra is itching like crazy and it isn't like that is something that you can scratch. Just 7 more days of antibiotics to go. :-/

Ecchi is wet again

We had our second named storm today. Storm Barney. What sort of name is that for a storm? Storm names are supposed to fill us with fear and dread - make us scared of the storm. But "Barny" is cute and lovable. Barny won't harm you. Barny will roll on it's back to have it's tummy tickled!

But this Barny soaked me to the skin and blew me halfway across the park. Not as "cute and lovable" as it's name suggested!

Now that is what I call service. Bed, breakfast, and a flyer!

The flyer reminds me of a show that was on in Blackpool while I was away. It was called "The King And Queen Of Rock", and featured Elvis Presley and Freddy Mercury.

I'm guessing those were tribute acts too, because those guys are kind of hard to book nowadays!

Puppy News

Like me, the puppy hated Barny. Had a struggle to get him out of the penthouse!

I'm trying to teach him that when I say "your choice" I mean that he can choose where we go. I think he finally got it, because today when I said "Your choice", he ran to the park's rain shelter and made it quite clear that he wanted to spend the rest of the walkie sitting in the rain shelter!

The husky however thinks we are a couple of softies - he has no problem with storms. He did not even want to wear his doggie coat (he is arthritic, so not allowed out in the rain without a coat - on health grounds) and it took me five minutes to get it on him.

The problem is that it is not just an "over the body" coat like the one he had when he was younger, it is an "all round the dog" coat, and he has to put his head through a hole to get it on. He has worked out that if he puts his nose between his front legs and keeps it there, it is absolutely impossible to get the coat on him.

In the end I had to throw the coat over him like a blanket, shove my arm down the head hole, grab his snout, and yank his head through the hole.

Not a proper way to treat an elderly husky. But "needs must when the Barny drives"!
