Saturday August 20th (aka Art's Daughter Moves Out)
Morning!
 2 weeks ago my nice 36" HDTV took a shit in my office. Yesterday the little 18" I was using til I could afford something better took a shit  Working now, but going to the local demolition derby tonight  |

Good Afternoon
 Did a bunch of little piddly stuff on the house this morning, washed the car and buzzed my head and trimmed the beard. Even submitted a gallery just a minute ago for no apparent reason. Wife and I are going to look at a house in a little bit then head down to D-land for the evening and that will close out the day. Quote:

Yes, my daughter is moved out! I love her dearly but this is the best thing to happen to me in a long time. I feel like this is the first day of the rest of my life.
Later, I went to a Canadian Football League (CFL) game with a friend. The home team, the Toronto Argos, got beat badly (46-23). Time for some TV and drink. |

After moving out, my daughter started to understand where I was coming from more and actually grew up a bit. She has now made me a Grandparent which I love and having that child really made her see and understand things we were trying to explain back during her teens. Our relationship has improved greatly. |
