Good Morning Everyone,
A high of 23 C expected today - currently 17. Showers expected for most of the day.. bla bla bla.. that about sums up the type of day Im gonna have. Yesterday I received my new dsl modem and get this it has a built in router, and its wireless! Not at all what I asked for but I must admit, this thing is cool. Have a great day, Terry |

Good morning
It's that time of year almost again. Getting all my insurances on my house inline is on today's list. You don't even want to know what it costs me a year. I'm east of Federal Hwy. which puts me in the state's high risk, read uninsurable, pool. Actually I got mail yesterday from my insurance broker that someone is writing policies again in my area so I may be able to get full home owners instead of just dwelling insurance. None of them cover windstorm so I always have to get a separate rider for that which costs twice as much as my home owners. I guess I could just go without insurance and pray a lot. Coffee and hurricanes are now being served… |

Rain all day.
Wife bought new race bicycle yesterday, Bianchi or something. You should hear her curses when she fall from it when she tried it first time, lol! After that everything went well. I was a little bit of worried as she went to the traffic right after that fall, but everything went well. For 40+ lady she's a thunderball... I play the Rolling Stones, washing machine washes clothes, and as soon as I get my lazy ass up from that chair, another machine washes dishes. I have a nice glass of red wine here. Not bad at all. I spent some 4 hours today to built a new free site. Got an idea from movie I saw last night. You LL owners may saw it already...

Good morning peoples
Just a reminder that there's no radio show today because I have to go in front of the town board & bag them to let me build a shelter on my land - I guess there's some stupid law on the books that you can't have over x% of your property covered with dwellings (something about you just popping up building all over your property - LOL) The shelter I want to build will put me over the % so I have to go & ask them if it's ok - plus I guess they tell my neighbor's what I plan on doing & they get to come in & say no if they want, which sucks because I don't really get along with my neighbors - LOL Cleo - I'll take snow any day of the year over those hurricanes & insurance premiums |

Hurricanes aren't that bad. We always get a few days notice so you can just leave if you want. I'm in an evacuation zone but I never evacuate. In fact I usually get lots of party goods and invite friends over for a hurricane party. When they show up for a free party is when they find out that they all get to help me put up the storm shutters which really is a pain in the ass to do. Especially since I've usually forgotten which shutter goes over which window. LOL
The house that I'm was built in the fifties so it has been through a bunch of hurricanes including hurricane Andrew which all of us passed out stoned out of our minds only to wake up to total destruction in my neighborhood but my house was fine. No electric for a week did suck big time. |

I just tell my neighbors that I'm a former madam who now traffics in pornography and they seem to leave me alone and as an added bonus keep their animals and children far away from my yard too.

We get the occasional tornado up here. No basements is actually one reason I don't like FL. My father in law lives about 45 minutes from your place (Boca), but we refuse to visit him there - he has to fly up here to see the Grand Kids. Would actually love to see a Daytona Race, if was held in North Carolina! Snow, Ice, I can deal with that GG - Tell them you need shelter to cultivate P** plants and that you'll share the profits... should sail right through (though it's taken me 3 city council meetings to build a garage, on an existing slab, and signatures of 10 neighbors - but tabled for 60 days for anyone to object - All this in a town of 860 people - LOL)

It's not a phobia - it's about How a house Should be Built.
Actually, it's more of an "I don't like Florida" issue. Now THAT may be a phobia.. LOL (though a lot of that has to do with visiting with my wife once (who is black as you know) and that apparently hasn't changed)

I didn't know your wife was black. Actually I never gave any thought to what color she was or that you are for that matter. LOL I do remember you saying that you liked dark skinned woman. I lived in Pennsylvania until I was eleven. It was quite a culture shock moving to Florida. I'm light skinned mixed race. I remember real well how I was treated different once they found out my father was dark skinned. I don't like Boca much. They look down on us Fort Lauderdale folks and we think that they are mostly a bunch of stuffy snobs. |
