Content? always paid for? and general questions

I'm just starting out, trying to get some content. I want to stay on the right side of the law and everything. I happened to have some gallaries of Krystal Steal and there are no markings on the photos and they are zipped up with 70 images per file. I can i use some of this? I imagine I can't. Places like newsgroups are full of image gallaries.

I don't understand this "intellectual property law" when applied to say the Paris Hilton tape. I mean the guy stole it in the first place, but now he his the rights to the tape? Then makes a website putting time bombs on the videos. I happen to have the full 300mb w/ no timebomb with good sound and everything. But this is still a no no i guess.

From what I understand the safest way is to get some good content that you own legally. Then put links everywhere to get the per click money and hopefully sign up money?

Why are all the signup places unsecure? using no https:// just http:// Don't you guys like having your SSN encripted before being sent out on the whole internet for anyone to intercept?

You can't "borrow" content.. not if you expect to actually make some real money in this biz.


The "Paris Hilton" people have rights to the video,and an armfull of lwayers .. which of course you don't have..

Short answer is.. unless you have a piece of paper giving you a licence to use the content... then you cant use it.

The only https:// I found was

And thats because I physically put the s after http and it came up

Hmm I spose there could be an argument to make them secure Tool.. but I don't think it is worth the effort or money...

No one... or at least not many people... would be interested in "stealing" your details... at least not at the time of signup..

The thing about the Hilton movie was 1st that she knew she was being taped & directed him as far as where the camera was & whatnot, thus she "produced" it.

Then it came out that she got all kinds of money from the sales, which means that she probably knew about it all along (like Tommy & Pamela - LOL)

Bottom line with any & all content is that if you don't have a license to use it, you can't.
