Are we going to be able to land? The news here is saying some nasty things about south Florida. Seriously, will the airports be open and is the hotel Hurricane proof? LOL

Florida is a big state. Hurricane is on the OTHER coast.

Weather here is Hot, Humid, and Sunny.

In fact yesterday was the first day that we didn't have nasty storms and stuff and today is looking to be very nice with a chance of some afternoon thunder storms which is always the weather here in the summer.

Basically the storm on the other coast is keeping all the nasty weather away from the gold coast.

Cleo will know more, but from what I've heard, it's gonna hit later tonight (after most of us land) and it's going to hit the other coast, so my fingers are crossed that we can land

The Diplomat hotel is actually in Hollywood which is between Miami and Fort Lauderdale being a bit closer to Fort Lauderdale then what most actually consider to by Miami.

There are no storm warnings for the east coast of Florida but the west coast is looking to be a mess.

That's good to hear. I hate sitting in airports all day or having to land at some other airport and wait there forever.
