Dealing with a Thief on the phone

Saturday I was informed by a friend that someone was using a picture of Toni that I had taken as a “Bio Pic” for a phone service site. I looked it over and took a screen cap and then wrote the phone service telling them that it was my image.

They wrote me today needing a more formal DMCA so I sent it to them and within 30 mins the image in question was removed. They sent me an email basically telling me that she can repost it if she says it’s hers and it will stay up until I sue.

Well, tonight it was back up. So I got my old credit card out and joined the phone service.

I had 3 free minutes and I used them to them to the fullest starting with:

“Sarah?”

“Yes?”

“Hi, I’m Torn from KatVixen.com, you may know me since you stole from me and you will for sure get to know me a lot better when I sue your ass in less then 24 hours if it’s not removed.”

I really tried to stay calm, I really mean it, I tried to stay calm, but I was PISSED. All she would do was say “I’m sorry” and “I’ll take it down now” I explained to her how easy it would be for me to get her real name and address when I subpoena the phone service and then sue her for the full amount of $2,500 times two since she put it back up. She told me her daughter found it since a friend told her to get a picture, so I asked what kind of mother would let her daughter surf porn sites? She said her daughter is 18, so I asked then why did you raise a thief? I also mentioned I would also sue the daughter.

Less then 4 mins after I hung up, the image was down.

A friend has had this happen to him as well, and he called the girl first thing, he told me to call her first but I didn’t want to until I saw it was back up and then I just got pissed.

After all these YEARS of being stolen from I got a little payback and it felt GOOD. Yes I admit I went *WAY* far in what I said, but I’m sick of people stealing from me, so fuck them.
