Latest boring home remolding pics

It's getting there. Electricians seem to have put just about every appliance plug in the wrong place but will be here on Tuesday to fix that and also next week the counter top people are coming to make templates for the kitchen counter tops and back splashes.

My roof is done, just needs its final inspection. I took a pic from my roof of the fence where the tree that started this all was.

Looks great! Still looks like a major building site... but it must be a relief to have it actually happening.. and if Florida is anything like Sydney.. to have those guys working on a holiday weekend is a miracle in itself!!

Funny that the room the tree fell on (your bedroom, right?) was the first one done.

Yeah my bedroom and bathroom is where the tree went through the roof and were the first rooms done. I'm going from west to east doing each room. My office and guest room and its bathroom are next. The texture people are doing them on Monday, Tuesday I paint, and Wednesday they start on the tile in those rooms.

Besides counter tops, going to get them in here next week so that they can make their templates, and handles for the cabinets which haven't come in yet the kitchen is almost done. Of course with no counter top I don’t have a kitchen sink and without a sink to connect the disposal to I can't finish hooking up the dishwasher.

My living room/den/dinning area is completely done other then a couple of pieces of tile base. As of this afternoon it is now got all the junk in it from the two last rooms that get done this week and I'm working using my dinning room table as a desk.

Actually now it is a bunch of little pieces of missing trim and things like that all over the place.

Also I'm still sleeping on the floor as my bedroom set hasn't arrived yet.
