Good morning folks
 A much better day here. Still not completely over whatever it was that I caught but much better. Going to take another day easy but since it is a gorgeous day I'm going to give my car a much needed wash and wax before the rain returns and then doing a bit of house cleaning especially my office. Espresso is now being served |

Greenguy It is nice when the house is all yours for a few days. You can laze around without anyone buggin ya. I'm going golfing today at one of the top courses here in Ottawa, Eagle Creek. Brunch first then hittin' the course. I'll be gone all day so enjoy your day everyone. I know I will be.  |

morning.. we are on smoke alert.. there is a 20k acre fire burning on mt. charleston and in the canyon.. since vegas is in a valley all the smoke is just hanging out here..last night when i looked out you could barely see the bight light on top of the luxor which is usually visible from space. they've closed off the main road between pahrump where the majority of brothels that service las vegas are. i can hear the phone calls now.. "uh honey i won't be home..i'm stuck in pahrump.. oh that's just a little town near vegas... what our credit card is showing 5k in charges from barbie's brothel? oh well i had to do something while i was here. G'Day
Spent last night with a couple of my best buds and we ended up watching Danny Deckchair, drinkin' and hangin' with my other 'buds' Zig and Zag White.  To those of you that don't know about this movie, try if you get the chance to see it. It stars Rhys Ifans. You're probably thinking who? Well, he's the guy that played Nigel in the Replacements, was Adrian in Little Nicky and in my opinion his best role, as Iki in Formula 51. Its a very enjoyable Aussie flick if I do say so myself that should make you laugh and generally feel good.  Hope your A/C is reliable enough the next few days because this weekend is going to be a hot and humid scorcher. Forecasted highs of 95-100F for the next four days will probably keep me inside for most of the daytime hours until about late evening, if I do step outside at all. Anyhow, its back to the grindstone for this part-time movie buff. Catch you all @ The Bench later on.

When I got home this morning I plopped my ass on the couch and put on a movie. 2 minutes later I was sound asleep and woke up at 6:30 PM. It was a good midsummer party yesterday |
