Happy Victoria Day Everyone!
In Canada, the celebration of Victoria Day occurs every year on Monday, prior to May 25th. It is the official celebration in Canada of the birthdays of Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II. Victoria Day was established as a holiday in Canada West (Now Ontario) in 1845, and became a national holiday in 1901. Before Victoria Day became a national Holiday, people had celebrated Empire Day , beginning in the 1890s as Victoria approached her Diamond jubilee in 1897.
Victoria, queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and empress of India was born on 24 May 1819. She ascended the throne after the death of her uncle George IV in 1837 when she was only 18. Good Morning
I think yesterday was the first time I haven't posted during the entire day. My daughter has been going through some serious problems with her mother and her mother's side of her family. I have been there helping her and probably will be for a few more days. I will let you guys know everything when it is done. |

 monday already........ time goes to fast, within 3 days i am stuck with my kids and hubby again, they will have a 4 day holiday, i think they have to much holidays in holland...lazy bums.Other then that i am since 6 this morning on the net, i worked my butt off,so time for some fun for the rest of the day. Good morning world
Might have some more rain here today, which would be welcome. Aside from a few errands around town, it's all about the porn today. To all our brothers and sisters far up north, Happy Victoria Day, F*te de la Reine, Empire Day (original), May two-four weekend, The May Long Weekend, May Long, May Run, National Patriots Day (Journée nationale des patriotes) and F*te de Dollard.  Morning..  I got lotza sleep but dayam I'm tired. My date with Tony Soprano wore me out I guess. Someone's gonna get WHACKED. Payroll comes today so i get to go deliver checks WOOT WOOT..i love that part of my job. Then i get to face all the peeps from the International Council of Shopping Centers. should be a fun week. Hopefully the fine gasoline delivery people will return my call this morning. Both of the other fleet fueling companies said that this guy would do it no problem. I hadn't thought of a boat fuel delivery company to deliver fuel, but, hey, whatever works.
Other than that, finishing up the telephone interviews, hopefully will have someone hired by the end of the week.

About to wrap up my work morning, so I can take a break and head over to the school. They are having Track & Field day today, and I need to go watch the munchkin compete. After that, I'll make a quick trip through the grocery store, then back home for a bit of work. Later today, I'm going to try to get the garden ready to plant. It's finally about dry enough to work the soil.
