Question re: traffic trades

Been in the biz for over 6 years, but have never pursued the concept of building trades, via TT scripts, etc.

How does that work, exactly? You build, say, an MGP site - not going to have any traffic to begin with, so no one is going to want to trade with you, right?

So what do you do - buy traffic over a 30 day period or something, to get things going?

I'm talking above and beyond the usual of SE's, link trades, and so on. It's all greek to me, so if anyone has any pointers, that would be great.

Well yes you can buy some traffic to start for however long to help feed the trades. Usually that works or you have other sites you can feed a bit of traffic from too if possible.

Otherwise there really isn't much else. When starting you either buy it, feed it or already have it there.
