A cold front dropped in yesterday mid-morning. Fall has finally arrived in south Texas. High temp in the 60's, very refreshing. Currently 52°. More of the same for the next 5+ days. The A/C is enjoying the time off. Might have to even fire up the furnace at night.

My back and legs are all sour from bending over too much this weekend. I put down the lawn at my new apartment for those who might have wrong thoughts. Spend most of yesterday on the couch so I have some catching up to do.

A little worried about my Daughter and Grandkids, their about 15 miles up wind of the Malabu fire and the three acre lot they bought to build their dream house on is probable scorched earth now.

I'm having a rough day - seems the Dr's forgot to cross reference the meds I'm on & one has the potential to react very badly with the other, so I'm not taking either until they figure it out, which caused me to sleep 11 hours & wake up exhausted. I can see the couch in my very near future.

I understand your concern TPat. So Cal is on fire. Malibu has already burned 3800 acres with only 8 percent containment at this time. You may want to have your daughter and grandkids visit you until this is all over. They issued a health advisory because of all the ash and smoke in the air. We are 30 miles down the coast and even I washed a layer of ash off of my car.

After a week of very clean Canadian lake country air I come back to a mixture of smog, ash & smoke

Hey all, good morning everyone. T Pat hope all goes well, and that they escape the worst of it all.

On here a bit later than usual, worked on closing the pool yesterday kicked my big ass and I had bus stop duty this AM let the wife sleep in. Boy Im a good hubby LOL

Anyway, more work on the pool today before the storms move in. Then getting back to work on some much needed updates as well as some non-adult related work. Yes I am a double-agent.

Hope all those feeling in the dumps can get back on track especially, Greenie, Stu, Digi and Fonz.

Some scary shite going on in SoCali. One of my camhoes that I met up with last week had to evacuate. She's gone to her mom's which isn't much better off in Temecula. I looked on my cc bill and yep Rancho Bernardo is where we filled up with gas going home.

Today is my major RUN day. and a planned stop at the Palms so i can be early this week!!

Morning everyone. Still on fire watch here. Have people that were evacuated in the place now. So far doesn't seem like any of their places were hit. However, a person my lady works with got hit. Sucks because I guess they had just finished fixing the places all up with new flooring, etc. Hopefully things have calmed though for the people staying with us.

Going to get to work now.
