Seeing as I've spoken on a panel at
The XBiz Summer Forum for the last few years, I recently hit up Tom Hymes from
Xbiz to let him know that I was available again this year. Tom came back at me & said "You got it. Can you pitch some very targeted workshop ideas?"
The "workshop" angle is apparently what the forum wants to focus on this year. I attended some workshops in the past & basically, it's a 1-3 people teaching a group how to do a specific task. The one that sticks out for me was the workshop on Press Releases. They gave us 2 examples - one that was written properly & one that was written by a white kid with a flat brimmed baseball hat on sideways (that's how it read to me). They explained what was good in the 1st, what was bad in the 2nd. They gave us some resources to send the Press Release to & along with other valuable info. I'll be the 1st one to admit that I knew shit about writing up a proper Press Release when I walked in there, but this workshop changed that.
Anyway - back on topic

I asked Tom if it was OK for me to get feedback fro those that plan to attend (as well as anyone else with a helpful idea) to post what you'd like to see a workshop on. Of course, he thought it was a great idea.
So, what would you, JoeBlow Webmaster, like to see a workshop on at this years
XBiz Summer Forum?
