![]() Still haven't stepped on the scale this morning, kind of afraid to.
I see that the stores around us are having after Black Friday sales. ![]() Still looking for a couple of super deals on a 32" and 50" TV so may get sucked into trying my luck and shopping today since yesterday we rolled out our dead 50" rear projection TV to the curb for bulk trash pickup. Actually not really sure what I'm doing today other than getting back into work mode since I haven't really worked in a few days |

I heard there were some riots at the Black Friday sales, damn them greedy people
![]() I had to demolish someones bathroom earlier today, I promised myself not to work on Saturdays but somehow this one slipped through. Later today we're going to drop off the little ones at my gf's parents and then we're going to have a nice evening for ourselves. Going out to dinner and a bar afterwards is on the menu. Have a good one all! |

![]() Neck & shoulders have basically been pain free for the last 36 hours, so now the big concern is why I have massive painful spasms in my legs 5 or 6 times a day (but they do make taking a pee fun) I feel like such a useless burden, so I am going to try & work as much as possible today. Too bad I can't go off on comp... |

Good morning.
Not much planned for today other than some cleaning and yard work a bit before the snow comes for good. |

Good Day
![]() The joys of owning an old home reared their ugly heads yesterday. Heard a water leak under the house had the plumber come out and fix it but while under the house found a sewage pipe leak which explains the slight funky smell lately. Couple of months back we had that line fixed from the front of house to the main sewer line in the street and now having the rest of the pipe under the house replaced. So in the past 3 months $12,000 on plumbing issues....ohhhh the joy!!! Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Later today, once the plumber is done, we have to go find a new fridge since ours is starting to make a bunch of noises. I won't even go into the recent issues on my rental homes ![]() Until then I need to do a bunch of work to try and recover from all of this. |

The only time I ever step on a set of scales is when at the doctor's. He usually tells me what I weigh, but he tells me in kilogrammes, and I still work in pounds/stones. So provided I don't do the conversion (and I don't) I manage to continue to not know my own weight - which is how I like it. That way I don't worry, and don't have to do something even more evil, like go on a diet. All I know about it is that I am "Fat", and I don't have a problem with that. About 15 years ago a nurse weighed me, measured my height, and consulted a BMI table. From this she told me that I was "overweight but not obese". Over the years my waistline has gone up and down a bit, but is roughly the same, so I'll stick to that diagnosis, and be satisfied with that. But step on a set of scales, and read the results myself? NEVER! I'll leave that kind of self punishment to supermodels, masochists, and weirdos! |
