Over the weekend, I finished editing all my category pages so the color scheme/theme of the main page is basically carried thru the site. So, all those pages went live with today's update

Really working on getting updates ahead a bit so I do not have to be doing them every 2nd day. Spent a lot of the weekend editing and uploading, doing more of that today.

The week plan is to set up some channels on tubes for advertising and continue editing and submitting.

Trading went out the window (for today, anyway) after it dawned on me how to clean up some REALLY old HTML coding in my Link Admin script. Remember the "onMouseOver" code* that'd allow you to change the text in the status bar when a surfer put their mouse over a link? So, instead of seeing an affiliate code with a bunch of strange numbers & mixed letters:

You could simply put http://cke18.com/ in the code & that'd show up to the surfer. IMHO it made the links look more "clickable". Anyway, when the rel="nofollow" code was introduced to me, I put it at the end of the "onMouseOver" code, since the only time either were used was for an affiliate link. The "onMouseOver" code stopped working a LOOOOOOOONG time ago, and being the tech savvy guy that I am, it dawned on me this morning to try editing the script so that the "onMouseOver" code was no longer there, but the rel="nofollow" code remained.

* This does remind me of how I think I put a per-click affiliate program out of biz in the late 90's

Besides my usual stuff I'm leaning more about making a site responsive using my personal site to develop on.

I've got a few sites that I host for $10 a month. They only use a few hundred megs of data each month. I'm actually expensive for this type of hosting. Check out DirectNIC or GoDaddy for insanely cheap hosting plans.

Just for no reason at all other than to learn how to work with WordPress I'm seeing how close I can get a blog to look like my site that is not done in WordPress. Non WordPress site, WordPress Blog. Everything is responsive, even the headline text.

Saw a host a while back who was advertising $9.99 a month - unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth. They said "Adult allowed, ideal for tube sites". Either there is a big catch in there somewhere, or they are going to go bust real fast (probably just after their servers melt).

Just looked at it on my phone. You need to do two div tags with a width set in each and then float them left.

That way it will be two collums wide on big screen and one collum wide stacked full screen on small screens.

The last 48 hours or so have been kinda unproductive for me, aside from updating. I did get a bug up my ass to turn greenguy89.com into a personal/mainstream page/blog of sorts...
