Morning!

Yeah, I'm still in an angry mood. I still have to update & then I need to go to my step-daughters' house & snowblow their driveway since one is sick & the other is in Florida

After that, I get to come home, change, leave with my mom, drive her around, then hopefully I can make it to the chiro by 3.

I might skip updating til later.....

I got the go ahead to take over webmaster a food e-commerce website done in Wordpress. It's something that I haven't done before but after going through the site it looks to be easy enough. Should be good for ongoing work.

I have an Air BnB guest coming in from Alaska later today and then may play tennis this evening depending how my leg feels.

Good Morning (at least still here on the west coast)

Yesterday turned out to a blah day with lots of rain, which we need, but that was fine by me as I did not plan on leaving the house anyways due to an inspector showing up.

Today for whatever reason I was up at 3:30am thou I did crash about 9:30 the night before so it was 6 hours of solid sleep. I do expect a nap to hit some time before lunch or shortly thereafter. Until then it's just work, work, work.

We keep getting threatened with snow, but fortunately (touch wood) it has not come this far south yet.

I've had a pain in the ass day. Been unable to access sites via the web. FTP worked fine, but attempts to use whatever protocol drives HTTP were buggered, and all sites were unreachable. With one weird exception.

If I used the Google toolbar on IE to do a search, I got through - I got a search page from Google loading on my browser with results. But if I then tried to go directly to Google by typing in that same URL in a browser window I again got a "no connection" error. Also: When I load Chrome that automatically goes to Google as a home page, and that worked, so did searches that I tried in the page that opened when Chrome opened a new tab. But if I typed google.com (or google.co.uk) into the address bar I got an "unable to connect" error.

Plenty of thoughts on what could cause a "no HTTP connection error but good FTP" but none that ALSO allow Google searches!
