I know that some kids went back to school last week & some went back yesterday, but my kids went back today so it's official.....

THE KIDS ARE BACK IN SCHOOL!

My niece is going to her 1st day of school today as well, so I'll be heading out in a bit to watch her get on the bus

Other than that, I should be here all day building like a mad man

Good Morning.

Not sure what I'm doing up so early. I just can't get used to sleeping in my guest room I guess.

I put up the first vids that I edited in FCP. It always feels so good when you realize that you have made it over the learning hump of a new program and things are starting to make sense… but I still have much to learn in this program.

Going to try to go to the gym again today. Yesterday I went and they still didn't have power so they weren't letting anyone in.

Off to make some espresso…

My daughter is starting her last year of High School today

I keep telling her to enjoy it because the rest of her life is downhill but she doesn't believe me

It's only starting. Downhill doesn't actually start until you're out of college for about 2 years and you realize yes I'm making good money and can buy things but this work shit just plain sucks! LOL

My daughter started grade1 yesterday so she is in full days. They're so cute at that age.

I dreamed of being a researcher when I was in high school. As I approach my 48th birthday I find myself spending my days looking at naked flesh doing the nasties and my research is in how to edit anatomically incorrect humans in FCP.

On the bright side I'm probably making far more money as a porn monger then I ever would have made in the sciences.
