i liked the beginning of SWAT, it was redoing what happend in LA a few years ago....but then it got outta control with planes landing on bridges or whatever

Yeah, it reminded me a bit of Con Air at the end. On the whole, it lived up to my expectations though : a typical formula, action flick, trying to cash-in on the succcess of the bruckheimer style. You basically watch it and forget about it.
