So this is the first step to getting the auction site up and running.

All the proceeds, less what the CC processors take, will go to the defence fund of those opposing Acacia in court.

When the site goes up will keep records that will be viewable on the net to everyone. Except the name of the buyer and the donator should they wish to remain anonymous.

The first item will be a special offer from our Bargain Basement Content Store site.

25 sets normally $200. For the auction we will take the highest bid in the next 24 hours

We just had our first bid. At the moment a bid of $20 is going to take away $200 worht of content, should have made it a raffle.

But $20 is only the start.

We are now at $130 from a lady on ICQ, do I hear $140 for this sort after item, lovingly cared for by a grandmother and only used on a Sunday to take her to church?

25 sets, which could be the $15 ones for only $140 is a steal, I should be locked up for this. In fact I should be locked up in a padded cell for even thinking about it ladies and gentlemen. Come on get them while they're fresh and before the coppers come.

Did I tell you I used to work in a London street market?

All bids above a certain price will get the content, if they donate the money. Just not going to tell you how much, make it more fun.

Well it's all over bar the paying and getting the money to the defense fund.

AgentCash gets 50 sets, HighRoller and 3 others get 25 sets.

The defense fund gets over $600.

Plus I learnt some very valuable lessons on how to run this, I need to get the site programmed, anyone feel like donating soem time?

Over all very happy, will be doing some massive promotion and could even be selling banners on the site, proceeds to the fund.

Awww... I missed all the fun. Just goes to show, never let more than 24 hours pass without checking into GG and Jim's.

No fears Lassiter I will be after you for some money soon.

This was just a trial for me to see if it would work, IT DOES, and find out some of the bugs.

The real site should be up and tested by the end of next week, will get something on there then. Those auctions will run for longer.
