Good Sunday Morning

Morning
If it is like yesterday, today, I think I may have to take my bike for a ride. I spent all of the afternoon putting it back together and it even started And, my wife is pestering me to go for a ride.

Other than that, I should be around until about noon.

Don't forget, the Sopranos are on tonight

Good Morning Folks

I went to Wally World to stock up for the next week and then the diner for some breakfast.

I'll spend most of the day trying to rest my ruined knee.

Have a nice day with tidal waves of conversions

Another day here, got to be 85F yesterday, a little too windy but eh... what can you do?

Today we are doing what we did yesterday, a little work and a lot of chilling. Went swimming again yesterday and plan to get more water time in again and then some more and a few drinks and what ever else comes up.

Enjoy the weekend!

Morning
Headache seems to be finally gone which should make today a good day. I've had it for like over three days.

It's my neighbor's birthday today and I said I would go to Trapez for his birthday with him since it's couple's night there tonight.

Going to be just talking it real easy today so as to not get this headache back.

Good morning Should be about 80 today with low humidity. I just love Springtime in Georgia before it gets hot and sticky, all three days of it.

Morning All

I'm sure Jim doesn't want to hear this, but a good friend of my wife's was killed in a motorcycle accident yesterday. A minivan blew a light & I guess he plowed right into the side of it

So, we've all got that weighing on our minds.

Yell & I are going to the Sabres game this afternoon & then it's 6 hours of TV in a 4 hour time frame

I've had a lot of friends killed on motorcycles over the years. A few others have lost limbs or and/or ended up in wheelchairs. I myself get pretty fucked up in a motorcycle crash when I was in my teens. My neighbor, who has around a dozen motorcycles, no longer rides after watching his friend die on one last year and is talking of selling his now.

Goooood mornin GG&J!

Happy birthday Ramster!

Yep, another bright and shiny day in paradise

Really sorry to hear about your wife's friend GG

I've had my share of close calls over the years. The closest being a low speed (fortunately) head-on many years ago. When the driver of the car saw the look in my eyes as I crawled off the hood of her car, she locked her door...best decision she'd made that day.

Riding a bike certainly does have its risks, but I enjoy riding too much to give it up.

Morning! We had a great night last night! Dinner was really nice, had a few to many but that's ok. Now that my daughter and grandson don't live here any more, and my son that does works nights. We got naked and crazy in all the rooms in the house, been years since we were able to enjoy ourselves like that

Well really sorry greenguy about the accident. We rode for many years with only a few close calls but never anything bad. A while back we were riding with a group and saw two friends get killed right in front of us. I haven't wanted to get on the bike since and never will.

Haven't made it to yet doc, but getting close!

Off to get something done enjoy your Sunday all!

Good Sunday everyone.... Ramster, Happy Birthday... hopefully the other team will give you a present in the form of a win

Well, the F1 race this morning was most excellent, it looks like it will be a very interesting season with many teams in the running for points and for the wins, always a good thing. None of this "one car off into the distance" thing, which is a good sign.

Motorcycles... well, I have one, but I got injured a couple of years back (not related to riding) which makes it very, very hard to shift gears (I ripped up the top of my left foot). I am likely to sell the bike as a result, it isn't really any easier now than it was a year ago, where I could ride maybe 10 minutes before it hurt too much. I enjoy the riding, but I don't enjoy the otehr drivers. When you have an accident on a bike, responsible or non-responsible, you often pay the ultimate price. There are way too many poor car drivers out there that just make a motorcycle into a dangerous game. My condolences to those who have lost.

NASCAR race later today (Vegas, it probably won't be a great race, the track doesn't encourage it, but the redesign for the fall race might be better), so that will be droning on the TV while I work on some stuff.

Alex

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Bike Week 2006 is the deadliest since the event began 65 years ago, with 18 motorcyclists dying in the past eight days, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Three bikers died in separate accidents Saturday, and four more died Friday, spokeswoman Trooper Kim Miller said.

This year's deaths surpass the 15 deaths recorded in 2000, previously the most deadly Bike Week on record.

Good morning world

Sorry to hear that, GG. Be careful out there Jim, always a lot of idiots out when you get a nice day.

Getting stuff done around the house and online today. Looking forward to the Sopranos coming back tonight. And I see there's finally a new West Wing. Carlos Mencia in a new standup too at 10 too. Yeah, that should take care of tonight.

Morning ppls
Geez way to go with making me have second thoughts on us getting a bike soon lol. The last time we were discussing getting one we were in the car at traffic lights and a bike hit a car right in front of us.
I dunno how much work will be getting done here this week, I have a nasty flu that has gone to my chest so I may try and rest a bit. Then there wil be one less thing for the Dr to bitch about when I get around to going lol.

Hello everybody.

The temperature around here is a blistering 16C/61F so suffice it to say, I'll be outside tuning up my bicycle today. Have a good one.
