I'm looking for a script...

...for listing categorized links. I'll be listing gallery links, rather than free site links, but I think a link list script is probably going to match my needs better than a TGP script.

bevyofbabes.com is the first site I built when I got back into the adult biz a few years ago. It has served it's purpose well, but it is all static pages with some snippets of PHP code and server side includes. It is very time consuming to update.

I'll leave the main page pretty much as it is, though I'll be adding more categories. What I want to use the script for is generating the category pages which will become text links with model/site name, gallery description and #pics.

Now here's the 'gotcha', I want to be able to specify multiple categories when I enter a gallery and have it appear on each of those pages.

Any suggestions? Thx

I'm sure you already know about all of the scripts already mentioned in this thread, so I'll just mention that I'm working with the new LinkX script from JMB and it does give you the ability to assign multiple categories to one free site (or gallery in your case). LinkX has a bit of a learning curve, but that's no different from any of the other link list scripts I've checked out.

If you don't need all the features of LinkX, then JMB's AutoGallery SQL script might work for you too. With that one you can't assign multiple categories to one gallery, but you can create category pages which will pull galleries from several categories using both category and keyword information. Actually you can even do that with TGP Rotator if you use the SQL "WHERE" condition to select the galleries/sites to list on each category page.

Thanks Simon. I was only aware of several of the higher price scripts from that list. I'll check the rest of those as well as LinkX.

I figure I'll need to buy more script than I really need in order to get the multi-category feature. Who knows at some point down the road I may decide to turn it into a full fledged link list. |shocking|

If the multiple categories will be the same on each page (like each main category has softcore, hardcore, lesbians, movies, etc) then you can do it with Link Admin (just talk to MML aobut purchasing it & getting it set up)

I guess I didn't word that very well. I'll only have a single level of categories, but I want to be able to input a gallery once but assign it to multiple categories.

Ok Toby I understand what your saying now and I think www.Xpowerlinks.com is the script your looking for. For example if you had a gallery which has a mature woman, with blonde hair, and lingerie you can just simply highlight the categories you think that gallery fits and the same site will show up in all 3 categories but only once on the main/new page for the main category it was submitted to.

I myself will be using this script for my new LL. I have had alot of experience using it as a reviewer for Porn-Ranch.Com which happens to use the same script.

Fuck Me! I wish I thought of doing what I suggested above when I started up Porn Movie Links - lol
