ok friends, I had NO LUCK so far, but I wanted to let you know what's going on:
on 31.1. I got an email saying that my account was closed couse "(it) consistently score in the lowest-performing decile in each of our performance-measurement statistical measurement categories".. so I wrote back, asking if that is some kind of a mistake, couse Ive been working with ClickCash for almost 5 years now, and I never ever had any problems with them... than I got an answer from their support, saying that I was warned couple of times, and nothing changed since than, so they cancelled my account.. now, the problem is that I never saw those warning emails (might be spam blocker, or I just overlooked them as one of those emails where you check if the following URLs are yours, or they were never sent), couse if I did, I would try to fix the problem, or AT LEAST, I'd mail them back asking what's that all aobut .. but I never did ANYTHING, couse as far as I knew - ClickCash was "just" one of my bast converting programs and that was it... so, I answered that email, explaining that situation and I never heard back from them again... basically, that's the story... and as it looks so far, it will end up like that... which makes me think what kind of people are working over there!? .. I mean, saying "Thank you for trying out ClickCash." after 5 years of colaboration and making descent amount of money, doesn't really sound like someone out there gives a damn about what's going on.. I know that this is biz, and in biz only numbers matter, but as far as I know, me and ClickCash had some sweet numbers... if my traffic was really that crap, why not try and fix it back to where it was 5,4,3,2 years ago, and not just thank me for trying their program?! ... also, saying that my account "consistently score in the lowest-performing decile in each of our performance-measurement statistical measurement categories" could mean soooo many things when it comes to traffic and its performance (lot of membership cancellation, not enought signups per uniques sent, trouble with charging members, or whatever else it might be!?), but I never understood which one of that was it, which doesn't really matter when you look at it now, couse I never had a chance to fix that.... anyways, if you have ANY idea of what I could do, I'd really like to hear (read) it... it's not that I'm gonna die without them, it's just I don't like being kicked out like a little kid after doing this job for so long, and knowing few things about it... thanx for listening, and all your help, saL |

When they talk about your performance they are not really talking about " your " performance as in how many signups you get. Basically it is what do your signups do for them, do they spend money or do they look and go. Being that clickcash is based on paying you for free signups I am sure they evaluate your signups and know to the penny how much those people spend on their site. If they are paying you $40 a signup but your people "signups" are never spending money on their site and they are losing money on you then I am sure anyone can understand them terminating the relationship. |

Wheither you think you can or you think you can't, Your right.

I dont understand why programs use e-mail to inform webmasters of problems in the first place, it can be so un-reliable.
I dont push them much traffic, but sales sure goe up and down for me. One week I make $200, the next nothing. Same hits/traffic. If any one is NOT consistant.... |

ok, I just wanted to let you know what's going on with this issue.. I got an answer from Stacy@ClickCash.com, and after couple of emails in which we discused what I can do with my adds in order to improve the quality of my traffic, they restarted my account.. now they are watching all my numbers carefully, and will keep me informed about them... this didn't happened just today (that would be too long), but couple of days ago, but I just didn't have the time write about it...
so, I guess there is a "real human" you can talk to, and that's just great... once again, thanx everyone for your help... |

Boobster,
I got an email like that from Stacey a while back. They looked at my sites and nothing more came out of it. I'll check with them to see if the quality of the signups have improved. Some people in the thread mentionned something about the amount of traffic. ClickCash sends this notice when the signups you send don't perform well economically once they are inside iFriends. It has nothing to do with the number of signups but rather the quality of the signups. They do that because they pay on a per-free-signup basis. You would not have that issue with a revshare program. Just my two cents on this, surely once they have your traffic inside their site, it's up to them to make it perform well? Why is it certain sponsors always try to pass the buck to the affiliate rather than looking a bit closer to home to find, and fix, the problem.

I am NOT saying that boobster did this but I am giving you examples of how the affiliate can, to some degree, control how well their signup does once they are in the site. It all comes down to what did you do to get them to signup. I know many people who link to the signup page with out explaining anything and the person signing up thinks they are signing up to the site they are on and doesn't even know what ifriends is. If i own sex.com and i show a image of a girl and link to signup page with no info on it, people might think they are signing up to sex.com not ifriends. They have had people say signup and i will send you $10 paypal. etc... There are lots of ways to lure people in without representing the site well and then those people who signed up wasn't expecting what they see and leave. Clickcash is also differnet then most sites because most people make their own promos and advertisements when they use clickcash. Unlike other affiliate programs where you use the stuff they provide. So if that doesn't work, they have no one to blame but themselves. With clickcash they give us freedom to advertise them, so naturally problems like this will occur. |
