Do You Require Page Titles?
Looking for some input on page titles. Do you require text titles at the top of the index page as well as title tags?

I think if nothing else titles are useful and helps identify the page (site)

From an SEO point of view its definitely recommended, but you might be happy with your SE traffic in which case this could be a non-issue

I suggest that you use your description as the <title> of your index page, and then variations of it (go after as many KW as you can) on the other pages.
No point in having the same title on all your pages, as each page has its own SE ranking potential (so you should go after different terms on each) - owners and reviewers know this and you shouldn't have a problem doing it...

no one's answered my question yet. Do you reject sites that don't have a text page title on the index page?
I wonder because i'm getting sick of seeing huge brazzers headers and no site name. |

I require titles on the sites front page. It allows the surfer to immediatly identify the site.
