Good Friday My Peeps!

I assisted The Bitch in weeding the flowers & bushes out front, so today my back is fucked. I keep telling her: "Grass To The House!" but she won't listen

resumes tonight with the 1st of 2 Game 7's - seriously considering napping & then chugging a couple Amp's to try & stay awake, because nothing beats a Game 7 hockey game

Other than that, work is on the agenda...

Good Morning

Dropped the wife off at the airport early this morning leaving me alone at home until Sunday afternoon. Stopped by the grocery store on the way back for necessities: Cookies, cake, chips, candy, donuts plus some bread and ham for a sandwich here and there

Now it's time to do some submits and other biz shit.

Just another day int he neighborhood here, work work work. Have a few errands to run this afternoon I think then likely chill a bit before the hockey game tonight. As Greenie said, game 7!

OMG, when it rains it pours!
I've been looking for more work and yesterday and this morning more work has come to the point that I'm feeling overwhelmed.

Looks like I'll be at the computer doing mostly non adult work for at least the next week or so.

Coming home on the train this evening, a black kid of about twenty (yeah, 20 is "a kid" as far as I'm concerned, I'm old alright!) got on playing reggae music loud. I made the mistake of making eye contact, which was what he wanted. Not to cause trouble, but to tell me the music was "his band", show me a poster for their next concert, give me a free copy of their latest CD, then solicit a donation for the "free" CD. I gave him a few quid, but I did not point out that his CD was somewhat out of date on account of the fact that the third track was "Free Nelson Mandela".
