I get to hand out the candy to the little morons this evening as my wife has a meeting to attend. Not much going on here but I do like the cooler weather. [insert Greenie comment here about impending Buffalo snowmageddon.] 130KM south and twice the snow. You gotta love it!

Glad to see the Nationals win the World Series but sad to see baseball go for a few months. I guess its football or hockey for now.

What do you think Bryce Harper is doing today?

Yesterday was weird, in that I got up around 3AM, worked until 11, did some running & since The Bitch is still off work and we got Pizza Hut coupons in the mail (I'm easily influenced) we plopped ourselves on the couch with $20 worth of pizza, breadsticks & boneless wings and watched Netflix until I went to bed at 7 & slept 12 hours

Yell also came home yesterday. He was hurting & since it's a Worker's Comp case, his company's insurance/lawyers are fighting EVERYTHING! Stuff you'd think would be automatically covered since they approved the surgery, like:
- A Walker: The insurance company denied it. His doctors said he couple pay out-of-pocket, then submit a claim & pray, but since The Bitch has graduated from walker to cane, I brought hers over for him to use.
- Meds: His doctor gave him a couple of scripts. The pharmacy wasn't able to fill 2:
1. Antibiotics - as a precautionary measure
2. Pain Meds - I don't know how many, but I doubt it's a lot & trust me when I say they are NOT that good...I mean strong

While the insurance company didn't say no, they require a prior-auth for both, which takes at least 1 day, maybe 3. I can see maybe questioning the antibiotics, but the pain meds?? REALLY?!

While the Weather Readers are not forecasting another *HurricaneBlizzard, there have been MANY High Wind Warnings for tonight, with 30 to 40 mph (48-64 kph) & gusts of 60 to 65 mph (96-104 kph) expected. Them kiddies finna gonna blow away!

Good morning

Hoping for a less busy day today

With the rain here all day into the night, I am unsure how many kids we're going to get. It's been less and less each year and a friend doesn't want to give out candy, yea they're THAT couple who always go out on Halloween

I think he and I will head over to the pub so I'll give out candy for a bit to the littler critters at least (we'll be lucky if I see 5-6 before going out, last year for the entire night I think I had under 20 kids, brutal)

is on, going to need more

Good Morning

Had a good time driving a 2020 Porsche 911S yesterday. The facility was great with about 20 specialty cars in the waiting area plus full glass walls that look into the shop where a bunch of race cars were. I only got the car up to 111 which is slower than I've driven on public highways

but the wet handling pad, kick plate and ice hill were fun and I'd like to go back for those, as I spun my car numerous times

Already did a little prep for tonights handing out of candy which I really enjoy doing for some stupid reason. Could it be all the dressed up milfs that are with the kids? Maybe

There's a lot of reason to move out of this apartment (and eventually I will too) but a good reason to *stay* is the fact that I live behind 2 closed gates, so I'm completely free from Halloween-kids, Jehovah's Witness and such :-D
