I think they ought to make everyone check their guns on the way in like they do in some rural areas around here and up in Arkansas - its a "comforting" feeling walking into the local bar/dance club and seeing the cowboys turning in their guns while they get shitfaced - knowing they get them back when they leave

RIP Dimebag Darrel, Pantera was one of the first metal bands I knew and bought stuff from. I still have a poster from Dimebag lying around somewhere.

Just wanted to say that I do feel bad that others died in this needless waste of life.

As some of you know im a guitarist in a metal band, when we get into the room to jam we usually start of stuffing around with a Pantera song. Darrell has been one of my biggest influences. Its hard to explain but its like I lost a part of me when I saw what happened, still in shock i guess.

I don't really know what to say about what happened to Dimebag and those other people. It's tragic.

I heard about it on the news before I went to sleep at around 5 or 6 am and they said someone shot him but they didn't say he got killed then I woke up today and checked out the news and read that he was killed.

I never got a chance to see him play with Pantera or Damage Plan and now I will never get a chance.

Oh well. At least we still have his music.

Dimebag Darrell was on of the best guitar players ever and he was one of the main reasons why I bought a guitar and started playing again this year.

RIP

In the mean time... I hope everyone is having a great Thursday night!
