Hi

I'm trying to figure out which of my meds is pulling me down, so I'm trying out various strengths. Today I feel pretty ok, so maybe... But I've thought that before :-(

Today I have to attend a meeting, GF will visit me tonight, but I think I can manage to throw in some work in between.

Good morning all

Forgot to stop by here yesterday I think. Been a usual week, work work work. That's the plan today, work all day and into the night most likely, just like yesterday. Trying to get some sites finished and billing approved before heading to Vegas in just over a week.

Daughter has the car at her friend's so no Tim Hortons for me this morning but I did of course make a

Morning.

Wow, throngs of people here today. Yesterday it was crickets chirping until Jolly came late in the day.

I don't feel too achy which is great. I've got a lunch meeting today. Later I am going to a play with a friend. In between it will be work of various sorts.

I noticed that JustRobert's TGPs aren't repopulating themselves so sending some good thought his way. I know he was complaining of not feeling well due to some complications.

Afternoon!

Been sick in bed for 2 days with a bad ear infection, among other things. Finally forced myself to get up and function a bit.

The worst thing about being sick for 2 days: checking email

I can already tell getting up was a mistake...

Good Day

I was just going to mention that Greenie had been sick and at the same time things went bad for me as well.

We last left off with ER sending me home and to see local surgeon. Get approval and see him Tuesday late afternoon. He tells me he can't do anything and that I need to go back to ER

Surgeon calls hospital/ER and tells them why so thankfully even though that place is packed I only wait about 30 minutes to get inside and back in a bed. More tests and they admit me into the hospital since they could not get to the surgery until Wednesday and want to monitor my issues which got worse and squeeze me in. I was pretty chill between opiods and morphine but my wife

Because of surgery I can't eat after midnight. A friend delivered some food because by that time it was after 8pm and cafeteria had closed. I had not eaten since 11am.

Sure as shit, because of everything else going on at the hospital I did not get into surgery until 7pm. I was so hungry all day waiting and that was the most annoying. Thank Santa for morphine.

Long story short, trust me this could go on and on with all the other issues, I'm finally back home with surgery being successful. More painkillers and will still need to be laying flat on my back for about 5 more days but that is okay as the major issue and corresponding pain are greatly reduced.

At least I can do a little work from bed

It has been a glorious start to the new year

Unfortunately the NAMM show is next week and I was looking forward to checking out all the new drum equipment but my recovery time says I won't be ready to be on my feet all day standing and walking
