How to go about TGP traffic in a smart manner?
Help me navigate the BW minefield that is the TGP beast.
After a few months of free sites only it's time to get into TGP traffic. I'd be silly to leave that traffic on the table, but I'd be more silly to just go into it without a clue. Which TGP's should I go about getting partnerships from? The Hun- yes or no? Got info that 1 pic gallery takes about 50-80GB/mo. How do I go about getting partnerships? Must I build and submit galleries for a while until I'm trusted then pay money or is it pay and play? I know I had a similar thread a couple months ago, but I was a bit taken back by how there was no collective group of rules similar to LL's. Can I get by on say 150GB/mo plan the 1st month as I go about learning who I can get listed and get a feel for the flow of traffic? Or should I start with a 300GB/mo plan to be safer. It's really like starting all over again. How much will I need to spend to get started right in TGP? Considering partner accounts and bandwidth? Some submission tools are OK in TGP if you just use them manually? Like http://www.chameleonsubmitter.com/ ? Will $500 will be enough to get started or will it be a bit more than that? Thanks in advance. ![]() |

Gosh, when you're asking questions you really want to know every tiny bit... LOL
I guess for the first month a 150gig allowance should be o.k. providing your image compression is alright (search this board about image size, there was a recent thread), and you don't over-do graphics (and the like) on your pages. ...and providing you don't go out and pay straight away for big partner accounts, a thing I would not recommend for the first month in any case! Get a feel for things first! See what gets listed, see what sells, see how you can sell in the TGP market before you spend too much money! Be prepared for a lot of work and a lot of frustration and rejection - there are so many TGPs now that it takes even me (with a submit list of over 200) many hours to find new and promising ones. Then each and every time you submit you'll have to skip some because they won't take the particular niche or don't convert in that niche... An important thing now is to make the right submission thumbs (that's plural!) because so many sites now list only thumbnail submissions, and almost each and every one have different preferences (hardcore/softcore, 88x88/90x120/100x100/120x160, etc., close-up/face only/ close-up body part (like bum or tits), toys yes/toys no, the list can go on... You'll basically have to load each and every site's main page to see what they're listing [check at the same time if they list too many sponsor hosted galleries!]). I basically have a long 3 column table [in 8pt font!] listing all my links to submit pages, and short comments behind most TGP names to remind me of their particular requirements - otherwise I would get too many rejections and/or blacklistings. As I find more-and-more the gallery description is becoming an important part when submitting; whenever I have a good day and write one which I really like I usually manage to get more listings! I'd wish I'd have more of these days of brilliance - LOL. Then there are all the requirements about description length, too! Like one site I submit to takes only 17 characters, several ones between 24 and 30 characters, then some reject your listing if the description is below 40 characters = you'll have to write at least 3 different descriptions, too! And since I'd been out for a while I just start to learn again what time of the day is good for submissions to particular sites - don't expect that you can make a gallery and submit it to all sites at once (not if you're keen to get listed at some particular sites). There's more to this - which I'll leave to others to answer - back to work for me! Better start experimenting - and good luck!

George,
Good stuff in there, man. Thanks. ![]() Yeah- a reality check in my brain says to dip my toe rather than jump in all at once and get a feel for things. |

I'm a lover of long 'descriptive' descriptions on my TGP. I won't even look at a gallery if the description is not promissing. I have some major pet peeves when it comes to descriptions. I personally blame 1/3 of the bad descriptions on TGPs who want every word capitalized. I blame another 1/3 on TGPs that demand really short descriptions. I find that annoying as all hell.
A description should be as close to a proper sentence as possible, but without a period at the end. I really hate it when someone says something like 'wants', 'needs', or 'loves'. ie, 'Hot busty blonde needs a big cock in her snatch' I don't care what she needs. Just describe the damned content! And, if someone gives you enough room to write 'Petite redhead cumslut inhales a ten inch black cock', don't write 'Redhead sucks cock'. This may sound odd, but I like receiving autosubs. Mostly because I don't feel bad about deleting them instead of re-writing a lousy description. The whole process of auto submission isn't geared toward the desires of picky fucks like me, so I am just tickled when a see a decent portion of my qeue is quality galleries with decent descriptions.

I'm actually really starting to resent this "all-American-we're the best-what does the rest of the world matter-all profits to us" mentality which surfaces all the time on gfy, and unfortunately a fair bit on this board, too! |raygun| Just because somebody can't write a perfect English description doesn't make him/her a bad person or not trustworthy submitter!

There's a lot of thumbs TGPs too that require GOOD thumbs. Search their pages to see what is considered good and make clear thumbs.
You may need to move up in hosting after the first month. But wait to see who will actually give you accounts and list you. Paying? Yes grab ALL the monthly accounts you can and stay away from those who charge for one gallery for now. I recommend these people for monthly accounts: DrBizzaro, CarlasChoice, GorillaLinks, EasyPic (yearly), TommyBookmarks takes galleries, BangThumbs, Free6 (if he still does it) to name a few. Make a few galleries ready for samples and apply to many top TGPs. Don't worry about TheHun. If you get listed great, but don't wait for it. You can only submit every 4 days anyway. Thanks, folks.
I forgot about my old webhost who has a dedicated $139/mo plan that gives me 1200GB/mo That's probably the route I'd take unless my request draws in some good deals. |

From my resreach on them I read they must order in the server- they keep no stock.
I'm sure you'll get it. Your billing cycle doesn't start until you get access to your server, right? |

Damned if I know.
![]() I've seen couple of complaints on their own forum due to their seemingly slow set up, but otherwise, it appears that their clients are happy. If I don't get it tomorrow I may flip though. I'm not known for my patience.
