"I started this web site on my terms, and will continue to run it as I see fit. Removing shirts that affect so many people in a negative way is just not exciting to me anymore and that doesn't make me lame or a sell out. I would only be a sell out if I sold shirts that I no longer agreed with just to make a profit. It would be lame to let someone else tell me how to run my business. I still have a great team. We still have the best artists, and the most talented writers, and we will continue to make the most kick ass t-shirts around."

that is funny.... except that censorship in the US is growing more and more everyday

That guy must make a bundle now so I'm sure he's thinking he doesn't need the grief or want to jeopardize his other profits.

How can someone be hurt by a shirt? He sold out. He should have just told them to f@ck off.

I did the model photography for this guy, another offensive t-shirt site:

Thats just sad. I mean this is a free country. People are starting to take things way to seriously. I mean it's like people are still screaming "Mommy!!" I never saw this guys t-shirts and if I would be offended by one, oh well. That's life. But like I stated in another post that people in this country just have way to much time on their hands. They should look at some other countries and maybe then they would see there are more pressing things in this world then an offensive t-shirt.

Hardly sad I think. Nobody forced him to pull the t-shirts. It's capitalism working the way it's supposed to. His most offensive t-shirts were getting to be bad for business, so he made a business decision.

The pendulum continues to swings slowly and endlessly towards great personal censorship. This is the big brother of political correctness, basically "corrective correctness" where past sinners move to be "good guys".

As Ramster said, he made an ass load of money from this, and now he is protecting it. Someone probably proposed a large lawsuit and gave him a chance to back out, and now he is doing that. The key is where that 30% is going, that will most likely be the related to the source of the issue.

I agree with Ramster and RawAlex, I think someone put the squeeze on him and he did what he had to to protect his fortune. I am glad he did that instead of shutting up shop after a big lawsuit fucked him in the ass.
I love those shirts, I have bought at least 7. 4 for me which I wear most days. Mind you they werent the type that he has removed lol. I also use it as my exit link but don't sell much that way.

I seriously doubt that he just woke up one day and decided not to sell those shirts anymore.... somebody leaned against him pretty hard to make him quit selling them

I'm with Jim, I bet the republicans had something to do with it.... after all they are now working to censor pay television and radio services

That's hardly what I said...

If the market and/or your business partners disapprove of your product/business practises strongly enough that's just the way things work.

??? it isn't the market or his business partners that helped him decide to stop selling t-shirts AND donate 30% of his income to charity... it's from somebody saying "do this or else...."
