Give me ideas on how to raise money for the defense fund.

As you all know, or should, I'm very anti Acacia even to the point of being boring. What I'm trying to do now is find a way to raise money for the defense fund other than just giving money ourselves, which we are doing.

So put on your thinking caps and come up with ideas. These can be applicable and used by anyone else, content providers, sponsors, hosts, 3rd party processors. We all need to fight this together.

Is there not a couple of important dates coming up here including one where the patent office is looking at the validity of the actual patent itself?

As far as raising money you should do something at Internext. I don't know what but with the amount of people there maybe make a few parties Require a dollar or two to get in or something. That will raise quite a bit of money.

Maybe get with Far-L (HomeGrown) & their IMPAI site? I know we donated a couple bucks to the cause thru them

Has there been any kind of petition? I know it won't raise money, but maybe you could set up a site where people could register and post their objections.

Then contact the Patent Office, The White House etc...... and give them the URL.

The new court date is in February and hopefully the judge will rule the patnets to broad. But it has cost a lot of money to a few for the benefit of many. And even if it is turned over they will not get any of it back.

We need to stand firm, I know a lot have given I'm trying to see if their is a way to give some more. Auction site is looking favourite at the moment.

Many moons ago I ran many fundraisers for Charity's there are two fast ways to do it one is a raffle sell tickets and the other is by selling add space in a program.
