Well, as Terry said: if the rain and freezing rain hits town, we will certainly be working on a wet and wild thursday here. Working at home has it's advantages, that is for sure.

Overcast day here this morning and I woke up with a slight headache.
Neighbor got back into town late last night and called me all upset saying that someone had changed stuff on his PC and all his stuff was missing. After I calmed him down I reminded him that he had thrown the drive for that PC into the ocean and had installed a fresh copy of Windows on the remaining drive in the PC. Probably just going to take it easy and let this headache go away. |

Same here in the northern tip of NJ.

good evening here
yes today my daughter of 11 told me she is old enough to go by herself to school, well she told me yesterday, she had an test day at her new highschool where she will go after this summer, with pain in my heart i lett her go, but i realy wanted to parck my car somewhere on her way, to see if she manage to get save at that school......they grow up and do i have an hard time with it. With that i heard today that my son wont go to the next class after summer, he wont manage it, i wont lie so i told my 9 year old son, he was crying for an hour because he thinks he is stupid, i finally confinched him he is not stupid and its not bad to do the same class again, it will only make all easier for him to learn in furture. we parents we think we have an hard time, but kids have an hard time to and we are here to help them to survive that hard life to understand all the answers of the "Big Why"........but i can tell you one thing, as an parent it will take all your energie, we want our kids to be happy, not to think they fail in life, not at the age of 9.......and it seems i succeed to fix that today, i am tired but happy, even i nag about my kids, i give my life for them! i learned alot today have a great day all |

Hey all!
12:40pm right now, and I am about to head out to the dreaded day job. Actually, it's not that bad... it's pretty much stress free. Stu, I hear ya on the kids deal. My daughter has had trouble with school in the past. She's getting better, but she tends to daydream a lot in class. (I wonder where she gets that?) My son is having a bit of trouble with a bully in his class but the teacher don't do much about it as the kid is First Nations... if the teachers keep sending him out of class, the parents are likely to come back and claim "discrimination" I don't care what colour your skin is, is you are raising a brat do something about it, for Pete's sake. Stu, you are right, kids should have have to be stressed out, they should have nice happy lives. Did my taxes and I will be getting a nice refund, I will probably use it to pay off a chunk on a bank loan. Debt is a real pisser. Anyway, here's to a great Thursday! (Aw crap... It's snowing AGAIN!)
