To wmv or not to wmv, that is the question...

Do "most" link list owners care whether the movie clips are wmv or mpg?

Mpeg-1 (MPG) gets my vote but both are fine.

I have converted most of my members area to WMV now, and my members have had no complaints at all. In fact I get several emails a week from members thanking me for having them in WMV. Why I don't know, but as long as they are happy.

Thanks for the comments cleo and lorsha. Im going to go with wmv at first I guess. Just to save a bit of disk space... If things go well I may switch to mpg and get some extra hard drive space at my server

One thing to consider is that mpg can be protected against hotlinking through simple htaccess but you will need a script to prevent wmv files from being hotlinked.
