Good morning.
![]() Working as usual trying to climb out from this mountain of work I have to get done. I need an assistant who works pro-bono so I don't have to pay them until I make money too ![]() |

Having really bad weather here this morning with tornados touching down about ten miles from where I live. It's just plain nasty out. Good day to stay indoors and work.
Had a really enjoying night with a Meetup group that did a full moon get together on the beach. Odd how nice the weather was last night after waking up to this storm hell this morning. |

Good Morning
![]() I'm finally out of my funk but still a bit sad. I mentioned my cat (the one wearing the bow tie) was diagnosed with cancer last week and we watched him go down hill fast over the weekend and had to make the call to end his pain on Monday morning. I've had him since nearly the beginning of this biz so he has kept me company while working at home alone all these years. I've lost pets before but this one just kicked me in heart. Got to believe it was because he was my sidekick at home and a bit like me: was an annoying pain in the ass most times and disliked nearly all people. He had dog like traits as he had this sorta bark when he wanted your attention, would growl when hearing the neighbors dog howl or an unsuspecting noise or knock on door, would follow me around the house, would wait at the back door when I'd go outside for a short time or would come to the door to greet you when you returned as he knew the sound of the car coming up the driveway. I'm gonna miss him. Anyhoo, back to work on biz and house. It sure would be nice if biz would take off and I could pay people to work on the house as my back is in a constant state of soreness. |

JustRobert - you have my sympathies. I know how close you can come to a pet who is a close companion and how devastating it can be when they die. When I was in my 20s and still living with my parents, the cat we had inherited from my Grandmother died while sitting on my lap. She was sick, it was expected. It was ages before I could bring myself to lift her off my lap.

Losing any pet hurts, but losing ones that have been family for many years is even harder
