Good Morning
![]() World Cup was great and happy Spain won the final plus the Bronze final was a great watch as well F1 was good as well and it really is starting to look like there will be a 20 year old champion. Now for a nut kicker, I have another plumbing issue which is a big one. I have to stop the catio project to work on this one The only good news is that since I'm behind on the catio it actually helps as the pipes run underneath the cement and paver stones where the rest of the catio is suppose to go. Trying to run a different route so I don't have to dig that all up but still not sure if I can do that. FMLAnyhoo, hope all your lives are going smooth and great! |

While the World Cup was great - for the world - this household is ice hockey/American football oriented. The Husband calls soccer/football kickball, as in what the little kids play. I wish there had been less controversy and more camaraderie. I do hear that they are planning on expanding the tournament to a whopping 64 games next time. I know it is great for the countries participating, but when you are only 1 of 64, doesn't it take some of the special meaning out of it? It's like a participation trophy. While there are 211 associations in FIFA, is it really special when a third will qualify for the big ticket? Hmmm...
I am seeing a trend in the promo materials out there. The Photos are usually softcore, with maybe some masturbation involved. The video goes into hardcore. To me, the photos fall flat and can use the boost from the trailer. Maybe just using the photos is safer these days? Maybe I will use the trailer on the version I use and submit the softcore photos. Sigh... Other than that, we are enjoying a cooler, wet period in our summer. The strawberries don't like it, but their season is almost over now. Back to work for me.

Hello!
![]() Back home from 2 weeks in Poland. A friend said: "A holiday is just a detour home". I'm like that, kinda. Quote:
FIFA is corrupt, and only about money. They're killing the sport. (And I am not just thinking about 's interference in the red card thing.)I know I am biased, but Norway got robbed of a goal due to some pushing in the box. That happens absolutely all the time, but this time the VAR judges decided to ask the referee to rejudge the situation. Is it better for the money that England goes to the semis? I dunno. Also, a kick out from our goalkeeper suddenly changed direction, and there's a lot that suggests it hit a drone wire. That means stop, and drop ball. Instead, England got the ball, counterattacked, and got a goal. Although there are many videos and other evidence suggesting it actually hit the wire, FIFA says it didn't. But will they release the data that proves it? No. (There are tons of sensors inside a ball.) Me being right or wrong doesn't really matter, but all this shit goes on behind closed doors, and you will never see reports. That bald corrupt asshole (who sat next to our Crown Prince during Norway-England (MAN, that made me angry)) says it will give more countries the chance to be part of it. But what's the point with qualification matches then? It's all about the money, and I will say it's roughly 99,8% chance for me being right. You got me going there, dear Pagan. Last F1 weekend before their summer break. The races and qualifications this year have, for the most parts being quite good. Looking forward to it. Have a nice one! ![]() |
