Whatever happened to 'we'll fight to have every vote counted?'
Nice to know that yet another candidate wasted our fucking time. Didn't even put up a fight. Worthless fucker.

I have to agree, face-saving fucking pussy. Maybe he should have read Dylan Thomas :

"Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

I feel for you lot today, I really do.

Watching Kerry's concession now.
Well I am saddened.
In no way was I a big supporter of John Kerry, but I was and still am very anti Bush.
We do live in a democracy, and the people have spoken.
And from the only people in this country able to vote that matter (those who did their civic duty) the message is clear.
The country is still as severely divided as 4 years ago, but this time it gave Bush a mandate.
Thank goodness that as long as Bush won, he did so sizably.
This way Kerry was able to concede graciously without dragging the issue out.
If we the US are to enforce our beliefs on the rest of the world, we had better be damn sure to show they work.

It is an unfortunate thing that in a country of over 300 million people, these two candidates are the best we could put forth.

Though I am dissapointed that my candidates (both Kerry by default and Castor by choice) lost, the good citizens of both Florida and the US HAVE spoken.
Yes Cleo our Broward along with Palm beach and miami/dade went pro Kerry, but unfortunately that was damn near all in Florida.
4 more years of Ashcroft*shudder*
That scares me the most .

Just be sure to get lots of body guards, an armored car and weapons for your home, best not to go out at night too. There is a reason that so many come to the USA from the Latin Americas.

Kerry was weak. It was as if Bush himself chose who to run against him.

I expected Bush to win. Now that he doesn't have to worry about getting elected again the real monster will come out.

I'm very worried of what is to come.

Come to my part of the country and you can meet all the Bush lovers you'd ever want - heck - they even put it right on the church signs out on the road to vote for him

As far as Florida, the real problem was not in the majorities or the little scandals - the fucking apathetic wimpy complaining people didnt fucking vote - out of the 10.5 million registered voters in Florida, only 7.4 mill voted - and most of the ones that didnt according to their registration preferences, were democrats - and looking at a few more states that should have easily gone to Kerry - the exact same thing happened - they just didnt vote.
As usual we will hear the apathetic Americans complain again for 4 years and still not vote - its simple - you get what you vote for.

I told a friend 2 weeks ago that I thought Bush was going to win. Why? Because he was using the politics of fear. It's what his whole campaign was about. He never addressed the issues.. even in the debates. Just played on peoples fears... saying that he is the man that can guide you out of these dark times. Not that wimp Kerry.. Never mentioning the fact that HE is the one that turned out the lights.

It's about to get even darker. But we're tough people. We will make it through.

Actually, I'd put that number up at close to 76% of Americans are fucking idiots since only somewhere around 50% of eligible voters even showed up.

11 hours on monday and 16 hours on tuesday.. another 10 today.. all at Kerry HQ here in LV.

My only brightside is that my county.. Clark, the largest in NV went solidly Kerry..the rest of the dayam state is suffering from radiation from Yucca Mt. and is brain damaged.

Now that i've had a chance to look at the stats.. and who turned out and voted i can positively say that i'm really disgusted with the women.. WTF... we are mothers and we are ok with sending our children to war??? NOT this mother..

I'm trying to hold on until school is out in june but chances are i'll be in Jamaica before too long.

Especially with Renquist in the hospital?? OMG .. I can't even imagine who would move in there.. our luck he'd send AssCroft..

Oh well i can't even say it was a good fight.. because, for me anyway, it was ABB and my candidated couldn't pick a few hours to truly waffle on .. like.. maybe i'll win.. oh no maybe i won't..OH YES>. maybe i will.

Whatever Karma is scheduled for GWB ..i hope it smites him soon...

after Cheney..
and Lott.

I agree Bush ran a campaign of fear..he has all along. And I also have born again christians sprinkled in the family both my wife and myselves sides. Thier unquestionable allegiance to this man is mind boggling. Escpecially coming from my own brother and mother I use to know so well!

Exactly. This election was won on fear. Those "undecideds"? They gave in to fear. People who opposed Bush on many issues ultimately gave in to fear - fear of the "terrorists", fear of gay marriage, fear of change.

And you are correct, we WILL make it through. The fight didn't end on November 3 - it just started.
