Sounds like an expensive way to get sales to me.
I'm not saying you won't get sales, but I am wondering what kind of ratio is involved. The closest example in my experience would be niche Yahoo Groups, that send a lot of traffic, but hardly ever show up as the referrer for a sale. And if the sale is made from a type in direct request, not a referring link, then how would you measure productivity?
