Wordpress admin index.php error

When I try to load http://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/index.php (Dashboard) I get an "Cannot find DNS" error. My server tech (or what he's supposed to be and no it's not Sparky ) says it has something to do with this RSS feed not loeading: http://feeds.technorati.com/cosmos/r...tner=wordpress

So the whole page gives an error, he also told met that the $cache_status gives "MISS" instead of "HIT" or "STALE" so he figures it's something in the wordpress settings.

All the other pages in the admin load just fine it's just the index.php

Anyone?
