I'm not sure I could call myself an Imus fan, as I probably saw parts of his simulcasted broadcast on MSNBC only a few times per month. I've seen enough to have a broad idea of who he is. His politics were all over the place, and not always in line with my own. That always bugs me.

Anyone who claims that Imus has had a track record of offensive, possibly racist, comments over his almost 40 year career in broadcasting, I can only say - fuck yeah! I'm in absolute agreement. He was the original shock jock, so of course he has made his fair share of offensive remarks. Big whoop! Offensive is funny. Racism is funny, unless you're a racist and don't get the joke.

That bitch (with a capital CUNT), Ann Coulter, recently referred to presidential hopeful, John Andrews, as a faggot. Very offensive remark. Lots of people bitched. But she's still on the conservative/nazish talk shows all the time. I didn't even hear of a single book burning event.
