The layout is perfect. Easy to read and find what you are looking for. The background in your header is all a matter of taste. I thought it was a mainstream site at first glance. Maybe a nice looking babe would work better.

You might consider setting a definitive width for the page also. If I resize the screen the "search" at the right of the page wraps and doesn't keep the intended design. Other than that it looks great!
