Yesterday the gutter press newspapers' front pages were filled with headlines along the lines of "Weather Bomb To Hit Britain" and news that the following day (today), we are going to be hit with extreme bad weather. On the news show on the radio the news anchor asked the weatherman if we were really going to be hit with this bad weather. He replied "Yes but..... It is December. You get hit by bad weather in December. What we will see will be 'typical December weather'....". But "Weather Exactly What You Would Expect It To Be" don't make good headlines, and don't sell papers. "Weather Bomb To Hit Britain" does.
This morning I got up late (due to watching movies 'till 2am) and the weather outside is - "a beautiful sunny day"!
