Affiliates who want links to their sites

I am looking for some opinions, not start any type of piss war.

I recently had a review site do a review on our main site. I have in the past posted links on my tour to other review sites. None of those other sites have told me to do it, but have asked me to do it. And I had full intention of adding a link to this recent review site as well; just I have not yet had the chance to do so until today.

This recent review site sent me an email this past weekend that said if I do not add their link to my site they will remove my review/link on their site.

They are already getting 50% of all sales they send me, and now they want 50% and my traffic as well?

I told them that I was not going to add their link any more then I already have (link to the review has been posted in our journals and inside our members area when we first saw the review)

What sense does this make? How insane would it to be if all my affiliates told me to “send them traffic and 50% of the sales, or I will no longer want your 50%?”
