Not sure if I ever told this story or not, but Cleo reminded me of it.

When we still lived in Indiana and came down to Melbourne for a visit we was speaking to some friends who had lived in Tampa, moved to Melbourne, and then 5 months later moved back to Tampa. When I heard this I asked him why, and he said Melbourne is a dead town after sundown and the hang out place is the Wal-Mart, thinking he was making a joke I laughed.

About 2 years later we moved down here and about a year or so ago we decided to go to Wal-Mart about 10pm on a Friday night. I can not begin to tell you how crowded it was and the vast majority was teens, walking in groups, most are dressed very nice as in on a date nice. Never in my life did I think he was being serious until that night, people actually go to the Wal-Mart to hangout here.
